For Immediate Release: Connor Baxter leads Top 10 on the 2013 World Series leading into Huntington
Maintaining top ranking during a whirlwind year of training, travel and events is not easy, particularly with the number of high-profile city events over the past 4 weeks. The Standup World Series has kept top SUP water athletes busy. As the world’s best will meet to compete in Southern California from the 17-22nd of September at the Huntington Beach Pro, all eyes will be on World Racing Series and World Surfing Tour as they come together for the second Grand Slam of the year.
Surf City USA will play host to world class competition across Surfing and Racing for a week of the best vs the best. According to the most current results sheet posted by the Waterman League (see image below) Connor Baxter is holding the lead in the 2013 World Series. There have been many close races and events providing spectators and fans with some nail-biting and surprises along the way. The Starboard SUP Surf team (video here) will be well represented in the event with a strong showing anticipated by the diverse Starboard team.
